A World of Play and Learning Opens at the “Renașterea” Regional Social Center’s Ludotheque

The “Renașterea for Our Children” Ludotheque in Chișinău offers an educational and play space for children aged 3 to 10. Within the “Renașterea” Regional Social Center, kids can take part for free in creative workshops, educational games, and activities that support their harmonious development under the guidance of specialized educators.

Chișinău, September 25, 2025 – Children and parents from the city, nearby suburbs, and central Moldova have a new reason to celebrate. The “Renașterea” Regional Social Center has officially inaugurated the “Renașterea for Our Children” Ludotheque — an educational and entertainment space designed to foster children’s harmonious development within a warm, community-based environment.

The new area, located inside the center, was created to stimulate imagination and creativity in children aged 3 to 10. The ludotheque is equipped with a wide variety of educational toys, puzzles, colorful books, creative craft materials, and a special corner for role-playing games where children can become doctors, teachers, or explorers.

“Our main goal was to create a home for both play and learning. Here, every toy has an educational purpose, helping develop motor skills, logical thinking, and social abilities through interaction with peers,” said Ana Popescu, the center’s manager. “We want this space to be a meeting point not only for children but also for parents, where they can spend quality time together with their little ones.”

Activities will be conducted under the guidance of specialized educators, who will organize daily themed workshops such as storytelling hours, drawing and painting sessions, building competitions, and creative recycling workshops.
The ludotheque’s schedule is flexible, allowing participation both on weekdays and weekends.

Access to the ludotheque is free of charge for all children from the community, and the first visit serves as an introduction session. Through this project, the “Renașterea” Social Center aims to support families by offering a safe and stimulating environment where children can grow and learn.
